Swansea City are set to net defender Bashir Humphreys after it appeared for much of yesterday as if he was to stay at Chelsea after all.
The Swans have been linked with Humphreys for most of the window and the deal has gone from looking very likely to not at all happening and now finally to appearing to be a done deal.
Wales Online report that “The defender is understood to have agreed a season-long loan move, and is now set to undergo a medical in south Wales, bringing a conclusion to a saga that’s rumbled on for the last couple of weeks.”
We await formal confirmation but this appears to be a positive move for us.ย We hope.
