FC Emmen eyeing up Tjoe-a-on move?

Another of last season’s poor signings could be on the move from the Swans again this summer with reports surfacing yesterday that Nathan Tjoe-A-On is a target for Dutch second division side FC Emmen.

One of the twelve signings we made twelve months ago, Tjoe-A-On spent the end of the season on loan at Heerenveen having failed to make an appearance for us such was the impact of the signing.

It was the signing of players such as this that made so many question the impact of Paul Watson last summer but if we can move him on it frees up a wage (albeit a relatively small one) from the squad which can only mean good news in that it will free up budget for someone to come in somewhere.

Transferwatchnl claim that the defender is wanted by FC Emmen who, it is claimed “want to bring him back to the Netherlands. It is unclear whether they are looking for a permanent deal or another loan for the defender. FC Emmen have been active in trying to build a team capable of promotion to theย Eredivisie, having already made five signings this summer.”

Whatever happens here the departure of Nathan appears to be a sure fire certainty this summer but destination currently unknown.
