Swedish midfielder eyed by Swans

Just as it appeared there was little action going on at Swansea City, another target has emerged this afternoon following links to Slovenian striker Zan Vipotnik.

This time it is Noel Milleskog, a left footed winger who can also play as a number 10 currently plying his trade in Sweden.

It is suggested in media reports thar the Swans have submitted an offer for the highly rated 22 year old who currently plies his trade with IK Sirius in the Allsvenskan.

Milleskog has been in impressive form for Sirius which has seen him net 5 and assist 4 in 16 games where he has generally played on the right of a three man attack.

It isn’t known what the bid that Swansea have reportedly submitted looks like although if Transfermarkt.com is anything to go by it would be in the lower seven figure region.

More to follow.

If this one comes off too then just looking at the age profile of the players we have signed since January...

Ronald: 23 (was 22 when he signed)
Eom: 22
Franco: 23
Vipotni: 22
Milleskog: 22

Besides a notable improvement in quality compared to signings the past few years the ages here show huge potential for growth, and with it as far as the club is concerned massive potential for resale value. The last part is sad to say but that is the lot in life for 99% of clubs in the football pyramid

Recruitment is now hitting the right spots. Like you say better value than has been Bristol City rejects , young and potential great resale value. Iโ€™m well pleased
