Swans to sign Peart-Harris on loan from Brentford

Deadline day news has started early this year with the reports that the Swans have completed the loan signing of Myles Peart-Harris from Brentford.

The move – first reported back in July – has been reported by Pete O-Rourke – and is assumed to be on a season long loan after successful previous loan spells at Forest Green and Portsmouth.

Peart-Harris did feature briefly in Brentford’s Carabao Cup tie in midweek but will become the Swans eight signing of the summer with the official announcement from the club expected later today.

News that the Swans were to follow up their interest was reported on Wednesday this week and the Swans are allegedly said to have beaten off interest from both Oxford and Sheffield Wednesday for the player.

Peart-Harris joined Brentford from London rivals Chelsea in 2021, with Frank labelling him โ€œa very talented young playerโ€.ย  He has made eight appearances for Brentfordโ€™s first-team, three of which were last season.

I hope this is true, we've got one forward thinking midfielder in Franco, another one would be great.

Peart-Harris plays more in a number 8 or number 10 position. So a second option in attacking midfield along with Eom. With Ronald, Bianchini on the wings along with Parker and Govea as their youthful understudies to gain exposure and experience in first team Championship football its a decent attacking midfield lineup.

The fact that he can also drop into a number 8 position if/when Franco tires makes it more and more likely that we will see less and less of Fulton.

Deadline day is like Christmas Eve for me usually, forever checking NewsNow and Sky Sports. I can't be assed anymore. After Wednesday, I couldn't care less.

Hold onto the faith a tiny bit longer.
Give the new players time to jelly and lets give LW more than half a season with players he inherited that are ill suited to what he wants and 7 new signings who haven't properly bedded in yet

To be honest since I've been off I've had a fair swill most days, a few days where I've just had a glass or two of wine, but had a few beers on other days.

Been watching the Swans since the very late 1970s and running the Planet Swans website (in all its current and previous guises since the summer of 2001 As it stood JackArmy.net was right at the forefront of some of the activity against Tony Petty back in 2001, breaking many of the stories of the day as fans stood against the actions where the local media failed. Was involved with the Swans Supporters Trust from 2005, for the large part as Chairman before standing down in the summer of 2020.
