Swansea City showed guts and determination to come away from Coventry City with a 2-1 win this afternoon.

Liam Cullen and Ollie Cooper scored the goals before an unfortunate deflection off Ronald brought the home side to within a goal.

But the Swans held out for an excellent win to make it six points from two games.

Obligatory bakajack player ratings:

Vigouroux - 9
A couple of excellent saves, superb distribution. No chance with the deflected own goal. Couldn't have asked for more from him today.

Key - 8
More like the Key of last season, he pushed forward and linked with Ronald (not consistently but their teamwork is improving), he battled and his opposing winger didn't get much change from him.

Cabango - 9
Narrowly missed out on Man of the Match for me last week but deserved winner this week. He was superb in the air, disciplined in defence and no moments of madness or hospital passes from him. His best performance of the season.

Darling - 8
Almost all of what I said about Cabango you could say about Darling too. Excellent and forming a real partnership with Ben. Both urgently need new deals sorted

Tymon - 7
Played well but tired quite badly as the game went on. That fatigue perhaps contributed to his getting a 4v2 overload wrong late in the 2nd half. Subbed for Naughton.

Grimes - 8
Everything I said last week applied this week. No longer dropping in as a third central defender all the time, distributing the ball well and forming a real partnership in the middle with Franco. His set pieces were much better this week too.

Franco - 9
The man was everywhere again this week. 7 interceptions in the first half for the side and 4 of them were from him. Revelling in the box to box midfield role bullying players off the ball and spreading play to the wingers speeding up play when needed.

Cooper - 8
His best game of the season by a margin. He harried and pressed, showed for the ball as a link man between midfield and the wingers and took his goal well. Start of the season his confidence looked shot, after that Wales game he seems to be enjoying his game for the first time in almost a year.

Eom - 7
Wing isn't his best position but he offers tidy control and is a willing worker and runner. Either needs to develop more attacking intent on the wing or be moved to his preferred position as a 10 to see the best of him.

Ronald - 7
Not his best game, always offered though and his pace kept Bidwell honest for the majority of the game. Always up for the rougher side of the game and never shies away from hard work for the side.

Cullen - 8
Pressed well, offered for the ball well, took his goal well. A proper poacher's finish and was the first to react to the knock down in the 6 yard box. Can be happy with his efforts today.

Peart Harris - 6
Pressed and offered a presence up front, never really had an opportunity show what he was about when played up top but he ran relentlessly.

Abdulai - 6
Involved in play a lot on the left wing, still think its a waste of him as a position but his versatility offers that option in Luke's mind.

Fulton - 5
Came on, fouled within two minutes and got booked for it. After that forgot he was on the pitch.

Allen - 7
Replaced Franco and did much of the same work. Harried and linked defence to midfield to attack. No major moments but a decent cameo.

Naughton - 7
Composed at left back after replacing the tiring Tymon. Not sure what else you can say about Kyle except that a 7 out of 10 performance is what you can always expect from him.
