25.07.03 – 8.18am – It’s the final day of Big Jack Brother and the two remaining housemates are up early to prepare for the big announcement later on this evening. Myra is clearly worried as she visits the toilet at regular 23 minute intervals, Leon on the other hand seems nice and cool as he plays with his train set on the floor.
25.07.03 – 9.49am – Myra and Leon are having breakfast. They are discussing the reaction that they will get when they leave the house and who will be out there to meet them. Myra knows that the rest of ‘the girls’ will be there to cheer her out whilst Leon knows that his mummy and daddy will be there and he hopes his Uncle will be too.
25.07.03 – 7.22pm – It’s moment of truth time. Both housemates are packed and ready to go and awaiting the announcement. After 64 days in the house away from the outside world they are now just one hour away from leaving. The runner up will leave first with the winner following around twenty minutes later.
25.07.03 – 7.46pm – For the last time, they hear the voice in the house "Myra, Leon you are live on JackArmy.net please do not swear. This week the public have been voting on who they want to win. I can now reveal that the winner of Big Jack Brother for 2003 is………………………"
25.07.03 – 7.47pm – "…………..Leon Britton. Myra you have one minute to say your goodbye to Leon and you are coming out."
25.07.03 – 7.49pm – After several quick hugs, Myra hands Leon a packet of sweets that she has saved for him and leaves the house. Leon sits down on the sofa bewildered at the fact that he has won. As he sits down he looks around the house and remembers some of the things he has done in the house. The building of a model stadium, helping Steve Watkin to shoot, drawing, colouring, model making. He decides that no-one will believe him about all this when he goes back to school after the summer holidays.
25.07.03 – 8.13pm – The announcement comes in the house for Leon to come out and meet the people that voted him the winner. As the doors to the house open, Leon leaves to complete silence. The reason being is no-one has noticed that he is there because of his height. However, this soon changes and the smile on Leon’s face looks bigger than the man himself.
25.07.03 – 8.42pm – As Leon meets his adoring public, the doors close on the Big Jack Brother house for the last time. After 64 days and 12 housemates we have a winner. It’s been a long process but there’s been some fun along the way. During the nine weeks of voting, there were close on 1000 votes in total for evictions and wins and Big Jack Brother has captured the interest of the people who were supposedly in the house as well as those who were just reading it. I hope you enjoyed the ride and that it helped pass the time over the summer. But for now we sign off from Big Jack Brother and take you back full time on out mission to follow the Swans. Well done to Leon Britton (maybe we could have predicted that one at the beginning) and hope you enjoyed the 64 days.

That was Big Jack Brother!
