Top Of The Divisions

Swansea fans have voted with their keyboards over the course of the last few months and made JackArmy.net the busiest site on the Rivals network outside the top two divisions for the month of August 2003.

It is some feat when you consider the crowds gained by some clubs in comparison to ours and also when you consider that not only is it the busiest site outside the top two divisions it is the fourth busiest outside the Premiership.

In total during the month of August 857,665 page views were recorded on JackArmy.net – a record month for the site but one that looks certain to be eclipsed during September. That placed the site twelfth in terms of traffic on the Rivals network with the top eleven lining up as follows

1. Stoke 2. Man City 3. Portsmouth 4. Ipswich 5. Everton 6. Middlesbrough 7. Spurs 8. WBA 9. Southampton 10.Liverpool 11.Charlton<>12.Swansea City

JackArmy.net was formed around four years ago by Keiron McDonnell under the name Army of Jack and then moved to the Rivals network upon it’s formation in 2000. In the summer of 2001 work commitments took Keiron away from Swansea and I took on the mantle of the site from there on in. During the dark days of Tony Petty the site gained many new visitors and these have stayed since those days and are now witnessing the site bringing the news and views of a much more positive Swansea City.

With September page views totalling 815,867 up to and including 26th of the month it looks as if the record set last month will be beaten and maybe that will be enough to move the site into the top 10 of Rivals sites.

Personally I’d like to thank you all for visiting the site and if you have any feedback – positive or negative – on what you see in front of you then please feel free to share your views
