Oli And Gueret Finally Sign |
Despite reports stating otherwise, Dennis Oli and Willy Gueret finally put pen to paper on new Swansea contracts only yesterday at the Vetch. Oli has signed a months contract for the club although Kenny Jackett has publicly stated that he will be looking to offer Dennis a longer contract after this period has expired whilst Gueret has signed for one year as goalkeeper. Both players have a good chance of featuring in the season opener against Northampton at the Vetch tomorrow with Gueret potentially marginal favourite to start the season between the sticks. Oli may have to make do with a place on the bench with Forbes seemingly the likely choice to partner Paul Connor up front. The club have issued apologies to all fans who are yet to receive their season tickets and have advised supporters who have not received their season ticket to call into the club shop prior to 4.30pm today or 2pm tomorrow where they will be given a ticket for the Northampton game. The club have advised that the problems with the season tickets are due to a delay occurring at the printers who are also responsible for the printing of the blank season ticket booklets. So far a record 3,300 season tickets have been sold and the club are reporting that they are still being sold even on the eve of the new season. Around 800 Northampton fans are expected to make the trip for tomorrow’s opener and will be allocated on the West Terrace. Because of this fans are advised to get to the ground early if they are paying on the gate. |
