Linked Tickets Sale

Swans fans will have the chance to snap up their tickets for the all important, and very emotional, last game at the Vetch on April 30.

On Monday morning at 9am, the club shop will start selling tickets for this game as part of a three match package that also incorporates the Leyton Orient game on 19 October and Chester City on 29 January.

All remaining tickets will be available for purchase from Monday although it is estimated that of the total number available, only around 400 will be seated tickets – the remaining being for terraced areas of the ground.

Tickets will only be available for the same area of the ground for all three games meaning that supporters will not be able to choose to sit for two games and stand for another or vice versa and tickets are limited to a maximum of four per supporter.

The club is also at pains to re-iterate that season ticket holders – both full and 12 match ones – or trust members who don’t hold a season ticket and who joined before 17 September are already guaranteed entry to the Shrewsbury game and therefore do not need to purchase one of these linked tickets.

However, they do advise that anyone purchasing a 12 match season ticket is only guaranteed entry to the Shrewsbury game if they purchase their season ticket before 6 November – any 12 match books after this will not contain the voucher for the last 3 games at the Vetch.

The linked tickets will only be available prior to the Leyton Orient game on 19 October and tickets will be available only on a first come first served basis.

Commenting on the linked tickets, a club spokesman said “With the final few games likely to be sell outs this is one way of ensuring that you are there for the main one. We also felt that this scheme would be advantageous to those fans that are regular visitors to the Vetch and that tickets are less likely to fall into the hands of those that profiteer from such an important fixture”

It is estimated that there are only a few thousand of these linked tickets available and fans are advised that they should turn up on Monday if they wish to secure one of these tickets.

For families wanting to purchase tickets there are some available for the Family West Terrace. Fans can check the opening times of the club shop by contacting 01792 633425.
