Selling Out Everywhere?

Swansea City will go into their last five games of the season with places to watch them slowly become at a premium after another successful day of sales in the ticket office.

Just 130 tickets remain for the terraces of Bristol Rovers’ memorial ground after a busy day at the club shop meaning that the full allocation of tickets is, as expected, likely to go to full season ticket holders only.

The remaining tickets will be available tomorrow for these people to buy and they can purchase one ticket each on production of their full season ticket book.

This news comes just 48 hours after it took just a couple of hours to snap up the remaining Shrewsbury tickets on Monday meaning that that match has now become a complete sell out. The Oxford game is expected to go the same way with fans now expected to snap up remaining tickets for this game over the course of the next week and anyone wanting to see this game is strongly advised by the club to buy a ticket in advance.

Meanwhile, the final league fixture of the season has seen the Swans secure an allocation in excess of 5,000 for the trip to Bury. It had initially been reported that the home side had given us 7,000 places inside the ground but a call between the two clubs today saw the figure agreed at 5,300.

Expectations have risen in the past two weeks after the Swans have won three on the trot and moved back into the top three and the fans are now voting with their feet and it is widely believed that if there is something resting on the game that we will be backed by between 3,500 and 4,000 in Greater Manchester on the last weekend of the season.
