Fireighters Pledges

Marathon De Sables 2007

A team of FireFighters based in Maindee Fire Station Newport will be taking part in the above event in May 2007. The Marathon De Sables is a 150 mile run/trek across the Sahara desert in 5 days.

All money raised will be donated to the Fire Service Benevolent Fund and T.O.G.S (a charity for children with learning disabilities). The benevolent fund caters for the rehabilitation of FireFighters and in the worst case Families of FireFighters who have lost their life whilst on duty. Sadly we Lost a colleague last year.

All pledges will be greatly received, thank you!
