With the top two in the division going head to head it looks as if it will be pretty much a complete sell out at the ground for the game that will decide the weekend leadership of League One.
Swansea, who have offered discount travel for the game will take six coaches full on their official travel club but the large majority of their fans will travel independently of the official travel with a large number of exiles also expected to be present for the game.
Whether the travelling army will see the presence of Bayo Akinfenwa on the field on Saturday remains to be seen. The joint second placed scorer at White Rock has a stress fracture of the shin meaning he is being wrapped in cotton wool with Kenny Jackett well aware of his importance to the team
“Bayo has made a difference for us this season. There’s no doubt about that,” boss Kenny Jackett admitted. “We’ve been fluent in the wide positions which has been important, but Bayo has been a big part of our play going forward.” Jackett told the Evening Post. “He holds the ball up very well and you would probably say that he is our only out-and-out targetman.” Jackett added: “Of course we’re hoping to have him available and I think with careful management he will be okay. “There are going to be question marks over him at the start of every week because of the stress fracture for a while. “He will have to spend time in the gym doing non-weight bearing work and only come out on to the training field on certain days. “Basically it’s a case of wrapping him in cotton wool between games. If we get that right I think the problems will clear up in a few weeks.”
