Kevin McLeod was signed from QPR for an undisclosed fee in February 2005 to solve our left sided problem. McLeod had an interesting season last season; he scored 7 goals in the first 6 games (including a hatrick) and then failed to find the net for the rest of the season.

The former Everton player then signed a contract extension and it looked like he could do nothing wrong. He went through a bad run of form and was then put on the transfer list at the latter part of the season for off the field activities.

McLeod has Premiership experience and is a winger who likes to get forward, he can be lazy at times but on his day he can scare most defender with his pace and crossing ability. Let’s hope Kevin concentrates on his football next season.
