Leon Knight will not be joining Barnsley in the transfer window. He has spent a month and a bit on loan at Oakwell during which time the Tykes have dropped into the relegation zone of the Championship but new manager Simon Davey has decided that the little striker does not have a future there and the move will not be made permanent.
However, there is pretty much zero chance of Knight resuming his Swansea career so the Swans face a wait to see if they can move on the man who only joined in the transfer window 12 months ago.
Knight has not played fro the Swans since October when he was substituted towards the end of the game with Tranmere at the Liberty and he was transfer listed just over a week later having been left out of the side that travelled to Chesterfield.
There has been little movement at the Liberty in the opening days of the transfer window but there have been plenty of rumours suggesting departures and arrivals. Time will tell.
