Swansea City Supporters Trust have been advised by Supporter Director Huw Cooze that Kenny Jackett has left the club by mutual consent asconfirmed in a club statement today.
Chairman of the Trust, Phil Sumbler commented “It is always sad when a football club and a manager part company.
“It has been an exciting time for the club during the three years of Kenny’s tenure and we have witnessed some great scenes including promotion, trophies and memorable cup ties.
“Kenny was manager of the club during a period ofe xciting development, with the move to our new stadium and a huge upturn in the level of support for our club.
“As a Supporters Trust we felt that we had a close working relationship with Kenny, who has always been very supportive of what we do as a group. With this in mind I would like to extend the thanks of the Trust for his work for our Football Club and wish him and his family the very best for the future.
“The Trust have had a representative on the club board for six years and although Huw only took his position at the start of this season he has made great progress in his role as representative of the fans and all members of the Trust should be pleased to learn that the Trust, through Huw, will be part of the major decision making process in the coming weeks in the search for a new manager.”
