Swansea City Football Club will break new ground next season by offering youngsters under the age of 16 the chance to watch the Swans in action for just £23 for the entire campaign – that’s just £1 per game.

The £23 season ticket for under-16s is available in the South ‘Family’ Stand only with a full paying adult. And the club has even extended the offer to allow up to four children to qualify for the bargain season tickets with every adult.

It means that a family of four – two adults and two children – can watch the Swans all season for less than £600.

“The offer follows on from last season’s successful ‘Fans of the Future’ initiatives,” explained Swans chairman Huw Jenkins. “We are fully committed to attracting more families and young people to the Liberty Stadium.

“We want the Liberty packed to the rafters with passionate Jacks giving Roberto Martinez their full support.

“It was an exciting end to the 2006-07 season and the Board of Directors were thrilled with the level of support from the fans.

“With an average attendance of over 12,700, it was one of the main reasons we came so close to achieving our dream.

“Now I think everyone is looking forward to Roberto’s first full season in charge where we can go that extra step and secure promotion to the Championship.

“And to give him and the squad every chance we have again made sure that our season ticket and matchday prices are once again exceptional value.”

To qualify for the £23 season ticket, children must be under 16 as of August 1, 2007, and purchased before July 31, 2007.After a price reduction last season, there is only a slight increase in adult season ticket and matchday prices (£1 per game) for the new campaign, while season tickets still remain cheaper than our very first season at the Liberty Stadium.

We’ve also managed to keep season ticket and matchday prices exactly the same as last season for senior citizens, full-time students, disabled and the under-16s in the East and West Stands.

All in all, it maintains Swansea City’s status as one of the cheapest venues to watch football in League One.

For those wishing to renew existing season tickets, or to become a new season ticket holder, they will be going on sale from the Liberty Stadium ticket office next Wednesday, May 23 at 10am – 6pm.

Current season ticket holders will have until the close of business on Saturday, June 30, to secure their existing seat. After this date, any seats not claimed by existing season ticket holders will be offered on open sale.

Application forms will be available from the ticket office next Wednesday, while existing season ticket holders will also receive an application form in the post from next week.

Non-season ticket holders who would like an application form posted out should email info@swanseacityfc.co.uk or phone the ticket office on 08700 400 004.
