SWANS NOSTALGIA – WEST HAM 1999

This is the first in what we hope will be a series of Nostalgia articles referring to games, players and events of Swansea’s past. Be it a newspaper report, player profile or like below a fanzine article or anything else it doesn’t matter. If you would like to see your piece of Swans nostalgia printed on the website then e-mail it to us .

We open with a look back to 1999 and the now defunct fanzine Jackanory. For those that don’t remember it, Jackanory was quite possibly the best of any Swans fanzines and was always a good read during the half time interval whilst stood on the North Bank (remember them days?)

Andrew Cude found an old copy and produced below the front cover and details of that famous Cup Win over West Ham at the Vetch – the first time Premiership opposition had been beaten by bottom division opposition in the competition.

Enjoy….
