Planet Swans ArchivesThere was good news out of the Liberty Stadium late on Tuesday night when the club confirmed that Darren Pratley’s injury was not as bad as first seemed.
Pratley signalled immediately when he went down in an accidental collision with Bussy during the game with Wycombe and was stretchered off with his leg heavily strapped. Radio reports suggested it may have been a broken leg.
But after being checked over in hospital it does seem that the injury may only be bad bruising which is good news for the Swans.
Richie Evans told the official site “It doesn’t look as bad as we first thought.
“There is no break showing up on the initial x-ray and hopefully it is nothing more than badly bruised.
“We’ll have another look on Wednesday morning and assess the injury again.
“But I’m pleased to say that Darren was able to leave hospital on Tuesday night on crutches and hopefully he’ll be okay.”
