Scotland was one of two Swans players to undergo the knife in the last week or so – Angel Rangel also had a minor operation.
And whilst Rangel looks unlikely to make the start of the season, the Swans have been given the good news that Scotland should be ready and will also feature in the pre-season tour of Spain which kicks off next week.
Scotland won't be considered for action in this week's friendlies against Neath, Port Talbot and Carmarthen but Richie Evans told the Evening Post "It went very well and we are pleased with the results
"Jason will step up his training and will be back in full training on Saturday.
"We will make sure he is ready for a game situation, and if he is, as expected, then he should play a half in the opening game in Spain."
Scotland grabbed 29 goals last season en route to the supporters player of the year award.
