Pintado was highly rated during the pre-season campaign by those who saw him in action and it led to a flurry of bets being placed on the summer capture being top scorer in the Championship.
But he was watching from the stands with the travelling Jack Army last weekend as the Swans kicked off with a 2-0 defeat at Charlton along with his fellow countrymen Angel Rangel and Albert Serran.
But reports now say that he has stepped up his recovery and could play some part against Forest at the Liberty this weekend kicking off his competitive Swansea career.
