Speaking after the match, the Forest boss was surprisingly upbeat despite seeing his side beaten 3-1 by the Swans in a pulsating game at the Liberty.
"It was an excellent game of football but Swansea were brighter and better in possession than us in the first half. We found our way through them but they had more opportunities." he told Forest's official site
"We gave the ball away needlessly on occasions but we quelled that in the second half and it was a much more even game.
"The second half was going well, we made a huge improvement and we looked as if we would be in control. But then the penalty gave them the advantage."
"The penalty didn't look much and having seen it again it looked even less, it is unfortunate to have a bad decision against us.
"But we will go into our next home game looking to bounce back from that."
