Scotland had a wasted trip last month for international duty with Trinidad & Tobago and believes that the 18,000 mile round trip has had an adverse effect on his Swansea form.
Saturday’s double was only his 2nd and 3rd league strikes of the season and he stated that he knows Swansea pay his wages and he must make a decision on what he needs to do.
Scotland says in today’s Daily Mail “I was told I must travel over for a recent international when I wasnโt fully fit and I should have stayed at Swansea to train.
“I then didnโt play, which was really frustrating. It has made me consider if I want to keep doing this. It can take it out of you as you have the flights there and back and then the jet-lag to deal with.
“It must be having an effect on my performances when I need to be doing my best for Swansea. We will have to see what the future holds but Swansea pay my wages.”
