The Swansea City Chairman was quick to rubbish reports that they had come to an agreement with the player over a get out clause when the new contract was negotiated last summer.
The claims were made by Bodde’s agent via BBC Sport yesterday but quickly denied by Roberto and then Huw Jenkins added his voice behind the denial via today’s Evening Post.
The Swans Chairman said “I don’t care what he says, there is no agreement in place
“The fact is that Ferrie signed a long-term deal with us in the summer and the only people who will decide if he leaves Swansea are myself and Roberto (Martinez).
“I’m sure you people in the media are clever enough to see what agents try to do.
“Let’s put it all together, realise the transfer window is coming up and that agents are just trying to do their jobs.
“I consider myself clever enough to understand what’s going on and I’m sure other people are too.
“It happens at every club in the lead-up to every transfer window.”
