The pacy winger has been linked with SPL outfit Celtic within the last week but with the prospect of first team action on his mind the Northern Ireland international could make the move to South Wales in the January transfer window. Speculation has been further fuelled about the 21 year old’s future at Brandywell last weekend as McGinn was spotted at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday to watch the derby clash against Cardiff City.
No official comment has come from within the Liberty Stadium club but a spokesman of the Irish side confirmed to the Derry Journal that an offer has come in from an “unnamed championship club” for the Dungannon born product.
