The Swansea City manager reacted angrily to a Sunday newspaper report that several players would be leaving the club when their deals expired in the summer.
The News of the World reported on Sunday that Kris O’Leary, Dennis Lawrence and Matty Collins were all unlikely to be offered new deals when their current ones expire in the summer.
But Roberto has revealed that they are looking into the possibility of taking action against the paper and he told the Evening Post “It’s very unfortunate when a journalist writes something that comes completely out of his head
“We will see where we are legally and, if we can sue the paper, we will do. Having players find out about their futures via newspapers is not the way we work.”
He also believed that Graeme Jones would continue his work at Swansea despite speculation lonking him with the managers job at Hartlepool and he added “It’s a great compliment for Graeme and for Swansea that he has been linked, but we will get on with our jobs
“I am sure one day Graeme will be a manager, but at the moment he is focusing on what is in front of us at Swansea City.”
