It was seven successive draws for Swansea City after yesterday’s 0-0 stalemate at the Liberty but Coleman was telling the Swans to stick to their beliefs despite the lack of wins that stretches back to November 15.
Speaking to the Western Mail after the game, Coleman said โSwansea are a good side and a very good footballing team. Coming here and battling hard the way we did, I am pleased with a point.
โI know all about the run they are on because Iโve watched a lot of Swansea โ but Roberto should just stick to his beliefs.
โThey are playing football in the right way and theyโve only just come up โ look at where the other two promoted sides are and where Swansea are and it says everything.
โThey are doing well and there should be no pressure on them to get into the play-offs because they are building in the right way, getting things right slowly and putting the foundations in place in the right way.
โI donโt think anyone has found them out โ if this is their dodgy patch, then theyโre unbeaten in seven and thatโs not too bad.
โThey are a good team who made a lot of chances against us, like they have done in recent games that they could have won. They are in one of those periods that every team has and they will come out of it.โ
