It was seven successive draws for Swansea City after yesterday’s 0-0 stalemate at the Liberty but Coleman was telling the Swans to stick to their beliefs despite the lack of wins that stretches back to November 15.
Speaking to the Western Mail after the game, Coleman said “Swansea are a good side and a very good footballing team. Coming here and battling hard the way we did, I am pleased with a point.
“I know all about the run they are on because I’ve watched a lot of Swansea – but Roberto should just stick to his beliefs.
“They are playing football in the right way and they’ve only just come up – look at where the other two promoted sides are and where Swansea are and it says everything.
“They are doing well and there should be no pressure on them to get into the play-offs because they are building in the right way, getting things right slowly and putting the foundations in place in the right way.
“I don’t think anyone has found them out – if this is their dodgy patch, then they’re unbeaten in seven and that’s not too bad.
“They are a good team who made a lot of chances against us, like they have done in recent games that they could have won. They are in one of those periods that every team has and they will come out of it.”
