Swansea City re-added Dimi to their ranks yesterday after he was recalled by Coventry City last week to ease their goalkeeping crisis.

The big Greek has signed until January 31 but both parties seem keen to make that move a permanent one although Dimi accepts that is down to how he performs over the course of the next three weeks.

Speaking to the Evening Post on his return to Swansea, Konstantopoulos said “I was glad to get it sorted out — this was my main priority

“The last week has been quite hectic. I have been down the M4 so many times I could do it with my eyes closed.

“Everything is spot on here. The lads are brilliant and the gaffer and the staff are great. There is nothing to dislike at this club. The fans are always backing the club all the time, so it’s a good situation for me.

“When we get closer to the end of the loan maybe we will talk about a possible permanent move. It has been talked about by myself, my agent and Swansea. It is an idea that could progress.

“There are a few clubs that are very interested, but they want to see how things go for me here. The first option is to see how things progress here though. I enjoy it here.

“I am not here to sit on the bench and be a No. 2. I have come here because I want to play games — that is what I want to be doing. But if I am not able to get into the side I will have to think about what the options are.”

Roberto meanwhile was being cautious about talking about a firm deal for the keeper but said “We will see whether it can be made permanent

“We would love to take him permanently. Coventry haven’t really showed what they want to do with Dimi, so we will see at the end of the loan deal.”
