The Swansea City manager takes his side into the North West tomorrow to take on the side that was halfway towards a Carling Cup upset in midweek.
Burnley led 1-0 at White Hart Lane before conceding four in the second half to give them an almost impossible task in the second leg in 10 days time.
But Roberto insists that there will be no hangover from Owen Coyle and his team in tomorrow’s encounter which will be screened live on Sky Sports with a 5.20pm kick off.
Speaking to the Western Mail ahead of the game, Roberto said “I don’t think all that will have an impact either way
“In the first-half against Spurs they were a great advert for Championship football.
“Owen Coyle has a very focussed side. When they played in the Carling Cup they were focussed and I am sure now they will be focussed in the league against us. It is not as if they are a mid-table side who are quite happy to win one and lose one. They want some points.
“There will be no complacency on their part. If anything they will be looking to get rid of some of the frustration they experienced in the second-half against Tottenham.
“When they play the game they are very competitive. I think the fact they are fifth in the league shows that and it is going to be extremely hard for us. They have a great balance of solid defence play and exciting approach play.
“They work so hard and have that arrogance on the ball as well. They have a squad full of experience and quality.
“The last four performances have been as good as wins in terms of the way we have played football. We did not get the points we deserved. Our challenge is not to win a game, but to keep up the standards we have shown.”
