The Swansea City manager watched Scotland hit a rare blank yesterday in the 1-1 draw with Charlton but he is more than happy with the contribution from the striker he snapped up for a bargain £25,000 under two years ago.

And he backed up that happiness by claiming that Scotland was almost irreplacable at the Liberty Stadium and said "He's the type of striker that maybe not many managers will fancy in terms of looking at his weaknesses.

"I think Jason in his strength is unique and special

"I love that sort of player – a player who relies on his raw talent.  I've just got a soft spot for him."
