Luckily, I am living in London, because if I had travelled up from Swansea I would be even more annoyed than I am now. At this stage of the season, squad rotation has got to go out of the window unless someone is out on their feet. It is not going to be popular, but it has to be said that Martinez made a complete mess of it tonight. No excuses for not playing Scotland from the start, and it was absolutely ridiculous to bring on Leon for the last five minutes when Bauza and Allen could have been replaced at any point after half-time.

Gomez was quiet, but still shouldn't have been taken off as he is the only goal threat we have in midfield at the moment, and the only player we have who can cross the ball. Butler shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a set-piece, even if he is the only man on the pitch.

As bad as we were, QPR didn't play like a team that hasn't won in nine games, and Taarabt looked a good player, even though he likes a stepover a bit too often. He made Rangel look pretty average, which is quite an achievement.

Not good enough today, and unless there is an excuse that I have missed for leaving out Jason and Leon, and the bizarre substitutions, Roberto has to take a lot of the blame.

Chickwick Jack

Crap is an unfair phrase.

We have looked a very tired team in recent weeks which is understandable following the number of games we have played since the start of the year.

We have had a fantastic first season in the Championship – the board, the management and players should be congratulated on what we have achieved in such a short period of time.
If we get into the play-offs it is a bonus.

What we have to ensure is that we build on from this season.
We musn't become the next Colchester or scunthorpe where we have a fantastic first season and then end up in a relegation battle in the second season.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS! CJ

I too have just got back from Loftus Road

Personaly I think we were not good enough tonight and by we i mean the players and the fans, it was too quiet in the away section, nothing like previous games in London, maybe because the away fans were split in two sections with upper and lower tier so there was little vocal support.

On the pitch, QPR set themselves up well against us, pressured us well and we did not play well, the goal was soft but well taken, to many passes went astray and for some reason QPR were nearly first to every 50:50 ball

Ok second half we started better, but that seemed to last about 10 minutes.

In general though, sometimes its not your night and tonight it was not our night.

On to the next game and back to winning ways please.
