The Swansea City manager has seen several reports in the past week linking some of the key players at the Liberty with moves away from the club.
Middlesbrough are allegedly tracking Jason Scotland whilst both Angel Rangel and Jordi Gomez are linked to moves North of the border to Celtic whilst this morning it's West Ham who are rumoured to be watching Angel Rangel.
Rather than being worried about his players moving on though, Martinez is taking the speculation as a compliment and said “I think the players we’ve got are determined to get into the Premiership with Swansea City. I can’t see players saying they want to go
“We play in a different way and it is hard to see players adapting to different systems. There are many things which come into it.
“But I take it as a compliment, it’s fantastic. Every day there is a different story with a different player involved.
“If you are not doing things right, if the players are not enjoying their football then you just don’t get that sort of attention.
“It is a sign of how much we have progressed. We will keep enjoying the rumours. It is all part of football.
“It is a waste of time for me to comment on each piece of speculation. A lot of them put a smile on my face.
“I’ve even heard about teams from Spain and Holland. We are definitely on the footballing map if you want to put it that way.
“Every player has a price of course and that is clear. Financially Swansea City is probably in the best moment in its history.
“That puts us in a very, very strong position. We only need to make decisions on footballing terms not financial.
“We don’t need to sell players. We don’t have to be in a situation where we give our assets away.
“It does not concern me that players may go, but if players want to move on then I don’t think we have ever stood in anybody’s way,” added Martinez.
“You always need to find solutions and that is what we will do.
“We’ve got a very important squad. A squad which has grown up a lot, but one which I don’t think has peaked yet.
“And we are looking forward to developing it.
“Here we are developing on a daily basis and we want to play in the Premiership."
