The Swansea City defender has revealed that a bet with Jason Scotland says that he should grab five goals this season – the bad news for Ash is that the goal against Barnsley was only his second of the campaign.
Ash said “My missus made a bet with Jase that I’d score five goals this season, so I’ve got her in my ear all the time,
“I’ve got three more to get with three games to go.
“I’m trying to count the own-goal for Wales against Germany, but Jase is having none of it.
“Seriously, though, it was nice to help the boys out.
“Sometimes if Jase doesn’t score, we don’t score, so it was good to be able to chip in.
“To get six points over Easter was brilliant,” said 24-year-old Williams.
“And I think we’re capable of winning the next three.
“It’s better for us that Bristol City are virtually out of the play-off race, but no team ever goes out not to win.
“Saturday is a massive game, and everyone knows how good Sheffield United are, who we face after that.
“If we can beat Bristol City, we’ll just be one point behind Burnley because they play Sheffield United two days later. We could really turn the heat up on them with another victory, and hopefully they’ll get a bit nervous and slip up again.”
