Planet Swans ArchivesIt is not the first time that the Swans have played Neath as part of their pre-season preparations with the two sides facing each other in 2007 at Llandarcy with the then league one outfit romping home 5-1 winners. Skipping forward a year, Swansea would face the Eagles once more but this time at their new home at the Gnoll. It also marked the grounds first ever football match with the league of Wales outfit losing 5-0.
Neath will also welcome another championship side in Chris Coleman's Coventry City to South Wales on the 4th August.
Tickets will cost £8, concessions £7, Family stand tickets will be sold via the Liberty Stadium ticket office and West Wales Print Shop in Skewen. Kick off will be at 7.45pm there is also no on sight parking at the ground and there is limited on street parking.
Swansea are also due to play Dutch side FC Twente on the July 18th and just days before the new season commences Paulo Sousa's men could also play La Liga outfit UD Almeria which has been pencilled in for the 1st of August.
