Dyer was speaking a couple of days after his man of the match display ensured that Swansea progressed to the second round of the Carling Cup at the expense of Brighton on Tuesday night.
And, despite being signed by previous manager Roberto Martinez, the winger insisted that he expects changes in football but although the personnel were different the philosophy remained the same
Speaking to the Western Mail, Dyer said “In football everything changes,
“So you have to get on with things and after Roberto (Martinez) left I wanted to form a good relationship with whoever came in.
“He’s set his targets and we all respect him as a manager and the player he was.
“He knows what he’s talking about, he’s done it and been there before so we’re all ears when he’s speaking and I’m just looking for guidance from him and to improve my game.
“He still asks us to play exactly the way we did last season there’s no need to change and he’s happy with that.
“I don’t want to jump the gun, but I’m enjoying playing football at the moment with the way we play and it’s going well for me.
“I want to keep it going.”
