The Swansea City manager knows that victory on Friday over Derby County will lift his side into third place in the division – their highest position for a quarter of a century and more.
After expressing pleasure at how the fans were behind the team in the last league game against Cardiff, Sousa wants more of the same on Friday night as the Swans look to sell out the home areas of the stadium.
“We sold out the Liberty Stadium for the South Wales derby against Cardiff, but it must not be a one off,” said Paulo via the club’s official website
“A true Jack doesn’t just come to the ‘big’ games. They come to support us through thick and thin.
“The atmosphere against Cardiff was fantastic and when we needed our fans the most – when Cardiff came back to 2-2 – they were there for us.
“They spurred the players on when it mattered the most and made all the difference between success and possible failure. Now we need the Jack Army to make the difference in every game.
“We need to fill the stadium on Friday – and every game after that. That is my challenge to Swans fans everywhere.”
