The new Swansea City striker will go back to his former club on Tuesday night looking to help them strengthen their play off position.

But he admits that he is not enjoying seeing his former side in administration and having recently lost 10 points in the Championship table.

Kuqi said “It’s not nice to see what’s happening at Palace right now.

“They have big problems.   Things just aren’t going right for them.   I have friends at Palace so what’s happening there makes me very sad.   You don’t want to see any club go into administration especially one of your old clubs.

“I really feel for the players.  It must be a horrible situation to be in and I hope it gets sorted out soon.

“I’m just concentrating on the future.  Palace is gone now.

“I’ve got npthiong to prove at Swansea.  People know what I can do.  I’m at a very good club with big ambitions and I want to be a part of that.  We’re in a great position but there’s still a long way to go.

“Hopefully I can help the team stay in the top six.”
