The People is today reporting that the Black Cats are ready to make a summer move for Pratley after having the 24 year old watched in recent months.

Nottingham Forest made a rather laughable offer of £1.5m in the January transfer window, with Pratley's value likely to be closer to £4m after some scintillating displays in the Swans midfield.

Sunderland are just a couple of points off sealing their Premiership status for a 4th successive season and Steve Bruce is likely to again have a decent amount of money to spend in the summer.

Pratley has scored six goals this season and has been in his best form since being signed by former boss Kenny Jackett from Premiership outfit Fulham in 2006.
