The Swansea City midfielder was speaking as the team prepared for a crunch clash at Sheffield United where victory could actually see them secure a play off position on Saturday.
That will happen if they win and Blackpool fail to beat a Peterborough side already relegated to League One but that is a scenario that Pratley thinks unlikely to happen.
“With all respect to Peterborough, you would expect Blackpool to win there and also beat Bristol City at home,” he told the Western Mail
“I thought Blackpool were a decent side when we played them up there.
“I think we’ve got to win the last two and pick up six points.
“I don’t think we can win one and lose one. Winning the next two will be our aim.
“It’s not a case of going to Sheffield United for a point, we’ve got to go there and win.
“Our goal difference hasn’t been the best this season, so we’ve got to make sure we get a play-off place on points.
“Sheffield United is a massive game now.
“We had a good result up there in the FA Cup a few years ago and we know that if we win that then we are one game away from the play-offs.
“But it’s their last home game of the season, there’ll be no pressure on them so they’ll try things they don’t normally do.
“It’s going to be a tough game. They’re a good side and will want to impress the manager for next season.
“They’re a physical side and we’ve got to compete with them and play a bit of football.
“But we played some football against them down here (Swansea won 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium in September) and if the conditions are like they were last Saturday I don’t see why not.
“The other results went against us on Saturday with Leicester and Blackpool winning.
“But it’s in our own hands. If we’ve got to win the remaining two games then we’ll be in the play-offs and be going there with confidence.”
