The young defender has long since been linked with a move from North to South Wales with the Swans reportedly interested in grabbing hold of the welsh prospect.
And Taylor potentially opened the door for the move when he declared in the Western Mail “Obviously I would love to play at Swansea,” he declared. “It is a good team and a Welsh one as well.
“I was proud to be at Wrexham and proud that I have now been able to play for my country. If I can stay in Wales and move to a bigger club, that would be great.
“If they were interested, Swansea would definitely be a club I’d want to talk to. I have watched them a few times and they play great football.
“That’s the way I like to play as well so they would really suit me. I know a few of the lads down there from the Wales set-up as well so it would be a great place for me to go.
“I’m out of contract now so I don’t know what my future holds,” he explained. “I know as much as anyone else right now.
“It’s early doors and all the clubs are going on their holidays. Managers are still putting their plans together so I have to wait a while.
“I’m sure I will find out what’s happening over the next month or so. But, for now, I just have to enjoy my summer and keep as fit as I can.”
Making it clear his spell at Wrexham is definitely over, he continued: “It’s time for me to test myself at a higher level. That’s the main reason I left Wrexham.
“I told the gaffer that and he understood. You have to try and play at the highest level possible.
“I’m still young and it’s a good time for me to try and step up. I want to play at a higher level and it’s my aim to do that as soon as possible.”
