The Swansea City man limped out of Saturday’s victory at Reading on Saturday and Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he will miss the clash with QPR on Tuesday night

“He won’t be available for tomorrow night which is a real shame because he’s been outstanding this season,” Brendan ttold the official website.

“I hope it’s not too serious; he wasn’t running or anything at the time, it was just a twist and he just felt it.

“He’s been a real influential member of the team and now we’re just waiting for the extent of the scan and we’ll take it from there.”

Joe Allen though will be available for selection after missing out on Saturday’s win “He will be involved,” added Rodgers.

“He’s back fit and could have been involved on Saturday. Joe’s looking strong; he’s back with the group and comes into the squad.”
