The Swansea City wide man is a leading contender for this season’s player of the year award and he urged the squad to stick together especially with the Swans currently occupying and automatic promotion spot.

“Anybody would be silly to move in the January transfer window,” Dyer told BBC Sport

“With the position we’re in at the the moment.

“It don’t feel it is a problem for us

“And unless they really need players, most managers won’t buy until the summer

“We have a good squad here and even if some players did decide to leave in the January window, which I very much doubt, we have a good enough squad to keep pushing.

“I felt we were promotion contenders at the start of the season but people didn’t see us as a threat,” said Dyer.

“But they are starting to see us as contenders. We must keep performing and I’m sure we’ll get the results.”
