The Swansea City manager raided Ipswich Town for a striker he worked with at Watford as he added the last piece to what he hopes is his promotion jigsaw.
Prisking played for Rodgers when he was in charge at Vicarage Road and is now going to get the chance to work with him again when the Hungarian striker returns from international duty.
"I worked with Tamas at Watford where he was outstanding for me," Rodgers told the Evening Post.
"At 6ft 2in, he can offer us another threat as well as balance for the remaining games.
"I looked to bring him in at the start of the season, but it's only now that he has become available.
"He is a player who can add goals to our squad and ensure we have enough cover for the final eight games of the season."
