Tate told the Evening Post "It's a shame Fabio was not with us longer because I think we would have won the league if he'd been here all season
"He's a brilliant player who did really well for us, and it would have been great if we could have got him on a permanent deal.
"But the gaffer has shown already that he can make good signings and hopefully he'll bring in some more good players this summer."
