It has been reported that Taylor wants to speak to Newcastle United about the potential move but as Moralee explained to the Evening Post, that does not mean that there is a guarantee that the move will be concluded.

"Neil is on holiday until the middle of this week, then he wants to sit down with the Swansea chairman and manager and discuss things

"Once he's spoken with the club hierarchy he'll have a clearer idea of the direction he wants to go.

"He will then have to talk to the buying club, but there are a lot of permutations.

"Alan Pardew (Newcastle boss) might say he's going to be third-choice left-back, in which case I'd tell him not to go because he could be first choice for Swansea in the same league.

"Newcastle might want to send him out on loan or his wife might not want to move — there are lots of things to consider.

"Swansea helped him develop and no-one is more aware of that than Neil.

"He's been on holiday and has not had one opportunity to say anything," added the representative. He's not aware of what's been written, he's just a 20-year-old kid that's done well.

"For people to suggest he definitely wants to leave when he hasn't spoken to anyone is wide of the mark."
