Sinclair was the Swans leading scorer last season and the hero of Wembley as his hat-trick fired the Swans into the Premier League with a 4-2 win over Reading.

And he is back now and ready to link up with the new front men at the club especially the Swans record signing Danny Graham – last season’s Championship top goalscorer.

The two met for the first time at Afan Lido and Sinclair said “Danny Graham is a great signing for us and I am sure he will add goals to the team

“We had some banter about who would score the most next season when we were sat on the bench at Afan Lido.

“I was watching how many goals he was scoring at Watford last season, and I think he was keeping an eye on how I was getting on too.

“I’m improving every day,” he adds.

“I’m always looking to learn and to improve in every training session and in every game I play.

“As a player I want to get to another level.

“I definitely feel that I’m a Premier League player,” Sinclair says.

“I felt that midway through last season because of my performances and the games we won.

“We are the underdogs,” Sinclair concedes.

“The bookies all say we are going to go down, but we’re setting out to prove them wrong.

“We’ve got to aim high and we won’t be setting any league position as a target.

“But if we finish up fourth from bottom, we will have proved everyone wrong.”
