Brendan Rodgers is bringing everyone back to earth by reminding Swans fans and players that they have earned the right to be here

Whilst Saturday’s game sees ‘the world’s biggest club’ arrive at the Liberty fro the first real home test of the season, Brendan wants to keep people’s feet on the ground and remind everyone that it is a Premier League game and that the Swans have earned the right to entertain the Champions.

He told the Western Mailย โ€œWe go into every game with a real sense of expectation

โ€œWe are very respectful of every opponent that we face but confidence is very high.

โ€œMy players are very humble and motivated to do well and thatโ€™s the hallmark of top players.

โ€œWe are trying to establish ourselves in the top flight but I have a group who do not fear anyone.

โ€œIn training this week I sense a real level of excitement from the players.

โ€œThereโ€™s growth in the group from where we were at the beginning of the season.

โ€œThey’ve earned the right to be here. We hope that confidence comes through against United.โ€
