Angel Rangel was comparing and contrasting the last two performances at Oakwell after the Swans eased themselves into Round 4
Rangel told the Evening Postย “Last season we came here and drew 1-1 but this year we have played here and been on a different level
“We have come on so much and to come away from home and score four goals โ it’s a great achievement.
“We have shown that we can play Aston Villa away or Barnsley away and get good results, so confidence is high.
“It’s always great to score a goal but I’m even happier with the result,” said Rangel, who had played a neat one-two with Nathan Dyer before calmly sliding the ball into the bottom corner.
“We played well. It was a difficult place to come and it’s good to get through to the next round.
“It was a great ball from Nathan for the goal, but the most important thing was the team and it was a fantastic win. It was an important moment because they had just scored, but we started the second half like we ended the first and Danny (Graham) scored an excellent goal.
“After we scored the third goal they had a spell where they pressed us a lot more, but in the end we showed composure and got a fourth at the end,” he added.
“We know how to play, both with and without the ball, and today we kept it well on a difficult pitch and it showed just what a good side we are.
“We knew it was important to keep the ball because of the state of the pitch, but you could see we were the better team in the second half.”
