Owen Coyle was a delighted man after his side knocked the Swans out of the FA Cup

Coyle had just watched his side come from a goal down to progress into Round 5 when he said after the game “We enjoy the cup competitions. We made three changes to freshen things up and started the game ever so well.

“We were on the frontfoot from the off and created a host of chances. Then, against the run of play, we conceded a goal. I have to say, it was a great finish from Luke Moore.

“We then showed our determination and courage to go up the other end and get ourselves straight back into the game with a goal just before half time.

“In the second half we set about going out there and taking the game to Swansea in order to get the right result. The speed and movement of the players was incisive and we always looked a threat going forward.

“We scored a good second goal and I think it’s fair to say that we should have added to our lead after that.

“Over the piece we are delighted to win a tough game against Swansea, who have shown their quality in the Barclays Premier League this season.

“We now go into theย Arsenal game on a good run of form following back-to-back wins at the Reebok. We’re winning games and scoring goals, whilst being able to freshen the side up as each week goes by.

“I’d also like to thank the supporters who came along today. We’re pleased to be able to send them home knowing that we have secured our place in the last 16 of the competition.”
