Brendan Rodgers was not ruling out final action in the transfer window for the Swans when asked the question on Monday
Rodgers said “There is no panic about what we are trying to do, it’s about preparing for the next few years
“The type of players we are trying to bring in will add value to the squad.
“We made enquiries for a number a players early in the window but it went quiet, now we’ve had feedback on one or two possibilities.
“There’s been no bids as yet but we’ve been given indications of what the values would be.
“There’s still a lot of work to do if they are going to become permanent signings.
“There’s a little bit of money and we have got to look at the future. It’s fantastic in terms of where we are as a group but we have to keep moving forward.
“They will be up and coming players, like a lot of our players.
“Neil Taylor’s come in from a lower level and been fantastic, Steve Caulker’s come in and will be a £8m centre-half by the time he leaves here.
“We are always looking to the future and if there are players with the talent and personality to fit in here we will look at it.
“In my first six months I was always going to see how the players coped and I think everyone can see they have done fantastically well.
“But looking forward it’s very important we plan, we will lose players like Steven Caulker and that takes us down to three centre-halves, so we have to look at other possibilities.
“If we can do something now that will prepare us for the summer and it will leave us in a situation of comfort.
“It was important we didn’t lose anyone and I always thought that would be the case, and if there is something to be done then we will look at that.”
