Ashley Williams has targeted victory at Tottenham on Sunday as the Swans go in search of a big road victory
“We perform well against the big teams and we did well against Spurs before,” Williams told the Western Mail
“We know playing away against the big teams is something we need to improve on, so that’s what the focus will be.
“You can’t get too down about one defeat. We’ve lost before and we’ve bounced back.
“We want to finish as strong as we can this season, so we’ll be going to Spurs for a massive game.
“A few teams have tried to do it but Everton did it a little bit better than most.
“We’ve come up against teams who’ve tried to press and on Saturday we found it particularly difficult hard to try and get out.
“But 50% of that was down to us. We didn’t create angles and we were sloppy on the ball.
“We didn’t play well but, credit to them, they closed us down well and they did it with a bit of knowledge.
“We couldn’t pick them off like we normally can. But it will stand us in good stead for the future.
“I’m not really happy with my performance (against Everton),” said Williams.
“I was a little bit tired in the second half if I’m being honest.
“I’ve just got to work hard and try and get back up to my weight, get in the gym this week and add some strength.
“It wasn’t nice. It got me for a few days and I lost a load of weight.
“I wasn’t really at it, so I’ll do what I can to be there for the team next week.”
